Beschuit met Muisjes

In the Netherlands when a baby is born, the gleeful parents present visitors who come for the baby “beschuit” covered in sugared aniseed sprinkles “muisjes” that translates to “mice”.

The piece is not dated, but it is likely made around September 2019 and is in my first Illo sketchbook.
